Check out the used Kia Telluride for a great deal on a stylish, family-friendly drive. Compared to other three-row midsize crossovers, the Telluride comes standard with a more robust list of standard features. Throughout its run, this Kia has utilized a hefty, 3.8-liter V6 engine that makes 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, providing plenty of power for your family adventures.
The very first Telluride was available as four trim models: LX, S, EX, and SX. The entry-level LX has always impressed with its standard lineup, which outclassed competitors with features like adaptive cruise control, faux-leather upholstery, five USB ports, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
The mid-grade Telluride S is surprisingly luxurious, with a standard sunroof, heated front seats, and second-row captain’s chairs. With the EX, you can enhance comfort and utility, thanks to standard features like tri-zone automatic climate control, a hands-free ligate, and leather upholstery. The Telluride SX is the luxury option, featuring driver’s seat memory settings, ambient interior lighting, dual sunroofs, and more!
For 2023, the Telluride introduces three new trim models: SX Prestige, X-Line, and X-Pro. The SX Prestige became the top-tier trim model, enhancing interior style with premium leather upholstery, a head-up display, and heated and ventilated second-row seats, among other upgrades.
And the X-Line model is kind of like a package available for the EX, SX, and SX Prestige models. The X-Line adds to each of these trim models with trail-ready features, such as all-wheel drive, a 0.4-inch suspension lift, higher roof rails, and an enhanced traction control system. These models are officially known as the EX X-Line, SX, X-Line, and SX Prestige X-Line.
The X-Pro offers an increasingly rugged ride, but it’s not as widely available. The X-Pro adds to the SX and SX Prestige with the X-Line off-road features, plus all-terrain tires, off-road-tuned suspension, and an upgraded towing capacity (from 5,000 pounds to 5,500 pounds). If this sounds like what you want in a Telluride, look for the SX X-Pro or SX Prestige X-Pro trim models on the used market.
Before you drive home in your used Telluride, make sure it has all the features you want! You can get an idea of which model years will suit your needs by checking out the changes that Kia made throughout the Telluride’s run:
